Careprost Eye Drop is a medication used to lower intraocular pressure in persons with excessive intraocular pressure and glaucoma. Overly high intraocular pressure may deteriorate vision and perhaps cause blindness. It acts by facilitating the passage of fluid into the blood from the interior of the eye. It is safe to use careprost. The active component, bimatoprost, was first authorized as a medication to reduce intraocular pressure in patients suffering from ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. Which strength is best for you will be determined by your physician. One drop should be applied daily to the afflicted eye or eyes. This is best done in the evening when bimatoprost is at its most effective. Either a bottle or a carton of single-use droppers is included.
