Okay, so with GTA VI finally confirmed for early 2026… are we really expecting Rockstar to pull it off? I mean, the trailer was insane, but I’m starting to wonder if the hype is just too high. Thoughts?
I feel that. Like yeah, it looks incredible, but after waiting since 2013? Expectations are unreal.
But Rockstar rarely misses. Vice City vibes, dual protagonists, updated physics… I’m cautiously hyped.
They’ve been updating stuff here if you missed anything: show
Tbh, I’m just praying they don’t shove GTA Online 2 down our throats on day one. GTA V was GOATed but Online eventually became a shark card circus 😂 Still, the new engine looks nuts and the map leaks seem legit. Also curious: do we know yet if it’ll have proper mod support, or nah?
Modding will probably be console-locked at launch, like always. But on PC? That community’s gonna go wild. Also @HarrisonHennessy agreed — I’m skipping the first wave of Online chaos. Learned my lesson back in 2015 😅
Real talk: I’m more excited for singleplayer anyway. Lucia as a main character is something new for Rockstar, finally. And sidenote, if any of you are into GTA-style gear or early-access merch, check this sweepstakes — I grabbed a discount on a custom controller skin, didn’t expect it to be real but it worked.
Oh sick, I’ve seen that link going around. Might give it a shot — controller’s looking rough after all those Los Santos chases 😂 Back on topic tho, I’m just hoping for a deep story again. GTA V was fun but kinda shallow emotionally compared to RDR2.
Preach. I want story beats that actually hit, not just satire and chaos. Something between RDR2’s tone and GTA V’s energy would be perfect.
