Anyone been playing anything new lately? I’ve been in a bit of a rut after finishing Hades (yeah, I know I’m late). Looking for something fresh — preferably with strong gameplay loops or good co-op features. Indie or AAA, I’m open.

If you’re into tight gameplay and replayability, Hades II just dropped in early access and it’s already super polished. Here’s the official info if you haven’t seen it: https://www.supergiantgames.com/games/hades-ii/ .
Also, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor came out recently — kind of a Vampire Survivors spin but with space dwarves. Surprisingly addictive.

Seconding Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. It totally caught me off guard. Didn’t think the formula would work for that universe but it really does. Runs great even on older rigs too.
Any of you tried No Rest for the Wicked? Been hearing mixed things but visually it looks stunning.

I’ve only watched a bit of No Rest for the Wicked, the art style’s killer but I’m not sure about the combat — looks a bit floaty? Might give it a try next sale.
By the way, have any of you messed with that new extraction shooter demo from Ironmace? Not Dark and Darker, but the other one they teased at that Korean event?

Yeah, I saw that! Looked gritty but still fantasy-themed. Didn’t catch the name though. Ironmace definitely has a vibe.
And speaking of fantasy + online, totally random, but if anyone wants a casual side thing that mixes games and chances to win prizes, I’ve been poking around this sweepstakes casino site. Just a time killer, but surprisingly fun.

Haha that’s a curveball, didn’t expect a casino plug in a thread like this — but hey, if it works as a game loop, I respect it.
I still rotate Slay the Spire clones for the same dopamine hit. Has anyone tried Zoeti? Card combat meets roguelite, not bad honestly.

Zoeti is solid! Gets repetitive after a few runs, but it’s got a unique charm. If you’re into that vibe, check out Dicey Dungeons if you haven’t already — bit more arcade-y but great for bursts.

Can confirm, Dicey Dungeons slaps. Also, anyone still holding out hope for Silksong or have we all emotionally moved on?

Silksong is the Half-Life 3 of metroidvanias at this point. I’ll believe it when it’s downloading. Until then, more dwarves and roguelikes for me.
